Chandra’s latest release, “It’s OK,” explodes out of the speakers with the rush of a crowd singing in unison. It’s the kind of song that grabs hold before a single lyric lands, riding on bright guitar lines and an earworm vocal hook built for instant echo. Rather than sugarcoating stress or struggle, the track gives those feelings somewhere to go outward, loud, and communal.

Frontman Chandra Nair teams up with Chris Wong and Mike Paul to shape lyrics that don’t preach or posture. Instead, they hold a mirror up to self-doubt and gently laugh with it. The message is less about perfection and more about breathing room: you can fall behind, feel off, or push against the grain without apology. The writing captures that spark of defiance that comes when you finally stop sprinting to match someone else’s rhythm.

On the production side, Elliot Vaughan ties everything together with clean precision and plenty of lift. His drum work snaps the song forward, tightening the energy without sanding off its looseness. The mix toes a line between pop clarity and rock grit, letting the chorus burst wide without losing the warmth underneath. It’s crafted to hit hard but feel human.

From their home base in Bristol, Chandra has earned a name by throwing open the emotional doors and letting listeners shout back. “It’s OK” carries that legacy forward with even greater clarity: catchy enough for festival crowds, honest enough for headphones at 2 a.m. It feels like an anthem for anyone who’s tired of pretending, built on the belief that relief sometimes sounds like a chorus shouted at full volume.
